Bb1 or bb4? Confused....

Anyway it's defo an import! Jap chassis code.
It has a ukdm bumper installed.

What was throwing me is it's 2ws. But it was changed

This does happen a lot.... mine is a jdm bb1 and came with all jap parts. The euro bubble
rear lip was already bonded to a ukdm bb1 so now mine has a ukdm bumper but
the foglight has been filled... next week it is losing the 4ws and cruise control and aircon. So mine is going to confuse people...
the bb4 was never intended to be exported but has...
and can be confussing...big damo bb4 has sunroof/aircon/cruise control and a load of stuff it shouldn't have but the jap guy who bought it new must have paid extra to have it all fitted, so why didn't he just buy a bb1 that came with it all?????

The ONLY difference between a BB1 and a BB4 is the 4 wheel steering system.
BB1 = H22 and 4WS
BB4 = H22 and 2WS.

EVERYTHING else was optional on both chassis codes. So you can have sunroof, leather, TCS, ABS . etc etc on the BB4 as its all optional.

The reason why you see more BB1s fully loaded than BB4 is because the BB4 was the base model 4TH gen, aside from the F22b. The difference is today, we consider the BB4 to be more desirable because natually its lighter due to no 4ws but back in the day, it was the cheaper option compared to an already loaded BB1 with all the bells and whistles, upping the price.
