Help moving cars around Essex tomorrow Sun 18th?

Post by wurlycorner » Sat May 17, 2014 1:07 pm

Hi all,

As I've mentioned I've taken on a new storage/workshop place for my cars where I can get them all together. Now I just need to get them moved!

I can borrow a mates Landrover and car trailer tomorrow but unfortunately he can't help and Lisa needs to study for an exam.

Anybody on here free tomorrow and fancy giving me a hand maybe please? :scaredtoss:

Plan for tomorrow would be to move the Sunny from Brentwood and a CX from Chelmsford. The barn is in Danbury (outskirts of Chelmsford)
The CX will be a runner (provided I get the hydraulic pipe repaired this afternoon) and so it should drive onto the trailer ok, but the Sunny is not a runner so needs manhandling around. I expect the brakes to be stuck on at first and it has no foot brake (handbrake should work fine)

All I can offer is the (dubious?) pleasure of my company and a pub lunch.

So guys, how can you possibly turn down an offer like that? :D
(Seriously, if anyone can help, that would be great - thanks). :hug:

Landie and trailer in question;

Time doesn't matter too much, I need to pick the landie and trailer up before 9am but I've got them all day, so flexible on it all really.

Only when no-one else is looking - I don't want any witnesses when you bring a molestation case against me!
