So been giving the lude a little loving now the weather is picking up. bought pauls front bumper in the end and he is having the one from merc. my little deathtrap is starting to look a bit healthier.

Also stuck on the AEM intake as i have had it up for sale for ages! lol.
Looks nice but the pipe is skinnier then the stock and other aluminium intakes. was going to put my k&n filter on it as its in better condition but its too big.

Was wondering if the smaller diameter pipe would restrict the airflow and make a noticable difference in power. havent had the chance to test it yet but im gonna take the stock pipe and k & n to the drag racing next week and see if it makes any difference in the times!

Gonna stick on a decat and lose any unnessecary weight too, hoping to do a little better then last time

so in preperation for japfest i decided to finally get around to doing the brakes.

Image

Drilled and grooved discs, braided lines and new pads.

This side went great, the other side was going well until some idiot decided retaining screws in the discs was a good idea. the shredded and i gave up for the day. that and an issue with the alternator has put a right dampener on my day!

Seems the pulley thingy on the alternator is different then the other pullys the belt goes round. it has less teeth. so the belt jumps over the side like so:

Green looks good with the red - complimentary colours, so good choice! :D

i wasnt sure about green and red, but i think it looks pretty good so far. i might go with a green and black colour scheme for the rocker cover now. green Rc and black spark plug cover or vise versa.

First stage of my chavtastic lighting install is in place, will be doing the passenger footwell shortly.
Only really did this as a test to check all the wiring was correct but i like the look of it, more then bright enough for the few quid it cost me on ebay, and loads more led strip left on the reel!
