I will update this.. I gave changed things again. Still fabricating midrange apillars that will play a full 7 octaves if music leaving the midbass to pound away without distortion.

Wow . It's definitely soundproof prelude .
But where you placed the midrange speakers, do you have any crossover for them ?

I havnt updated this in ages. Everything has changed.

My L3SE midranges are in the kickpanels and the baffle is as open as possible. The crossover points are going to be roughly 300hz to 6000hz.
Changing the headunit to a Pioneer P99RS soon so i can put all my music onto an ipod all lossless audio. Currently I'm using a Clarion drz9255 head unit. Pure sex.
Its a fully active system. All of the crossovers and EQ is done in the headunit before amplification. Each Speaker has its own amp channel and all of my Genesis Amps have been modified by Gordon (the amp doctor aka Mr Genesis) Himself. DA110 & SA50

Ill update it soon.
Im going to move this all into my Ludes profile i think.

They can't be that low . They don't work properly . Did you try listen them on the twitter height ? ;)

What makes you say that?

It's called path length differences.
If you get the speaker as far away from you as possible the sound stage becomes nice and wide. The human ear is very sensitive to midrange frequencies and in a 2 seat setup having the the most important speaker as far away from you as possible ie the kicks is a big advantage.
The speaker sound better in the kicks that the a pillar where the window screen causes all sorts of artifacts comb filtering and reflections.

Well, i'm with car audio about 10 years now, has worked
with best car audio companies in Poland and i never heard this theory.
Midrange is the vocal speaker, and need to be on ears height for music scene. When is on kickboard panel, you and your passenger blocking them by your legs.
If that will be good solution then you could get midbass and midrange coaxial, did you seen that before ? Why you buying 3 way systems ? Because they need to be on different places ( it's very important) do you think if they are on kickboard panels make a big difference if they would be coaxial with midbass (no). Think about it :)

Buy the way, did you seen whenever wins hi-end demo cars with midrange speakers not on the ears height ?

Put your home hi-fi speaker on the floor and then on ear height and check when you will have beeter quality . ;)

Another examle, why each recording studio has speakers on ears height not no the floor ? ;)

That your car and your decision where you gonna put your speakers, i just said what i know. Maybe it's helpfule maybe not. :)
