then the cutting and welding began...

my welding isn't the best but finally got it patched up

Sadly I was pushed for time so had to just give the arches and sills a lick of hammerite and put the side skirts on, will need more welding in future..

Next was the engine, I had some trouble getting the right belt as I removed the air con, one local motor factors are crap and would of been easier to search the forum in the first place

Now had the car booked in for MOT Wednesday which was abit ambitious to say the least so that then changed to friday and was looking promising until I put water in it 10 o'clock Thursday night and it all came back out

Turns out the "OE" quality gasket and seal kit I got off shitbay was not so accurate and the two o rings on either end of the water pipe which joins water pump to thermostat housing (awkward one on back of block ) weren't right and leaked.. badly...
next day I ordered some from honda and they arrived Saturday morning, fitted em, topped up all levels, MOTed it and this how she stands..
