Never got round to fitting the boots before last trackday. So are going to do it before next one here. Only thing is that they do not have any breather holes ( so are these a definite no good) thanks in advance

There's only one hole in the driver's side which faces up (The one on the left in this pic)...

It'll need something similar to breather. If you punch a hole in it the chances are it will tear after a bit of use and grease will find it's way out or moisture in quite easily, but I'm sure you can achieve it somehow. If not just get the correct ones before the weekend ;-)

Why doesn't the other side need a breather. Or does that one breath for the 2 of them somehow

They both need a breather, and a rubber pipe connects the two, the air passes between each helping to equalise the pressure.

Hmmm. I saw the end of a breather pipe and wondered if it needed to be connected (It wasn't previously), but I don't think it would have reached (I didn't pull on it too hard).

The passenger side boot that came in the same kit didn't have a breather pipe on it though (At least I don't think it did!) :?

It should, I've literally just come in from fitting both on a shiny rack. I'll post pics later.

You can just make out the two nipples here......

And the orange connecting pipe here, though it's hidden on the left hand side....

Hmmmm. Checked the passenger boot earlier. Definitely no nipple on that one. I guess I'll get to that problem if and when I have to replace that boot in the future ;-)
