Brakes on BB9 2ltr

Post by claymore68 » Sun Apr 27, 2014 1:24 pm

Hi Guys,

I think Nick gave me a suggestion about upgrading my brakes before, but thought it best to ask for advice before getting it wrong
I need to upgrade disks and pads and i have 4 stud hubs and I have speedline alloys which are ok so would like to use them if possible, so if I keep the hubs what can i do in regards to the disks? I think Nick suggested Brembo Disks for 4th gen would suit and would stop it well however Im struugling to source them,
As usual any help would be great.

4/5th gen vtec/ek9/mb6/jdm 98 spec itr/ukdm itr front caliper and carriers so your running 282's on the front, 4th gen vtec discs and pads from any of the ones listed as there all the same. Just did the 282 conversion on my 2.0 5th, the difference is night and day bud.

Rears are fine bud there already the proper size so no need to change calipers etc on the rear. ;)

@nitin_s1 is selling some front calipers and carriers, maybe worth making him an offer. If you manage to get all the parts and need a hand fitting just give me a shout ;)
