Carbon Fiber Type-S Bonnet Spoiler... Opinions Needed

Hey folks,

A friend of mine who makes carbon fiber parts was eyeing up my car today and asked if he could borrow my bonnet spoiler to make a mold. I declined.

If I was to lend him the spoiler, he could then make a mold and be able to make bonnet spoilers anytime.

I declined because as much as I would love one myself, I think bonnet spoilers being openly available would de-value the Type-S coolness. Seeing the bonnet spoiler on every car, JDM/ UKDM or USDM wouldn't be a prospect I'd relish.

Just wondered what other peoples thoughts on carbon fiber bonnet spoilers being available are? Want one? Against the idea?

Bonnet spoilers aren't overly rare IMO. Quite a few have been up for sale recently and one took forever to sell at a really good price. IMO. Also bonnet spoiler wasn't a TypeS exclusive piece anyway.

No point anyway because many people are up for things being molded and recreated etc but never follow through. IMO. Find one group buy for a remade part that has actually happened and I'll not to anything.

Still only about 5% if that of regular 5th gen owning members have one though.

No because they also don't count. I mean cosmetic parts as in lips, spoilers etc in cf or otherwise. I really should've been clearer.
