you can normally see which by seeing which one is weeping fluid.
You might get by with a bit of fresh fluid/re-bleed, but only as a get you home method, not to be relied upon.
If the car hasnt been used in a long time the seals can perish.

check the clutch reservoir which is the small one next to the brake fluid reservoir
if its empty top it up and pump the pedal by hand and check for fluid seepage from the firewall-pedal
if you get pressure again, open the bleed nipple near the clutch slave right at the front of the engine and bleed the system.
check again over the next few days for a wet clutch pedal and surrounding area, its most probably the master

Where to find a master clutch cylinder at a decent price ?
Ho and Striker, check if your circuit is not opened. I've never seen this happening but may be it worths checking before buying anything.

They are around fifty sixty quid on eBay. my slave cylinder went and I bought mine off eBay for 36 but master is a bit more expensive.Darkam wrote:I need to replace my master clutch cylinder so I'll post my question here to avoid making a new topic :
