Well no, but why do they need to be Extra Load?

87's are rated at 545kg each. x4 means the car has to be 2180kg before it's too heavy for those tyres.

It makes all the difference according to some folks on here..and elsewhere. I would struggle to find the thread this evening..but I can have a look tomorrow.

Apparently the stiffer side wall improves handling somewhat. ;)

I'd personally go with the xl tyres for a stiffer wall but you will be fine without.
