Tein coilover spring ratios

Post by Ailfenergy » Sat Apr 12, 2014 12:03 pm

The rear spring on my new Lude has snapped. I need to find all available information about Tein coilover springs. According to my measurements its internal diameter is 71mm, outer diameter is 95mm, lenght 180-190mm (hard to tell because one coil was detached). On one web page I found that rear spring ratio is 224 IB.

Has anyone got more precise information about Tein springs?

I want to fin out which springs would fit to my coilovers.

Most springs are measured in inches so your prob looking at a 2 3/4' Id spring and 7 1/2' long. You'll also have to replace both sides ideally so getting the exact spring rate isn't required.

Check out these guys http://www.coilsprings.co.uk/power.html
A 71mm id spring is a little unusual so may not be easy to get hold of.

That 'Spring kit' at the bottom of the page, is it coilover springs or just normal ones. Looks too cheap for coilover springs :geek:

No idea - give them a call and ask? That is the UK distributor.
