Not a jobby idea, good idea. Unfortunately incompatible with modern jobby rads though (the tank and hose connection is plastic) and the condition of the remains of the bayonet fitting (which is stuck in the old rad due to being corroded to drokk, which is what caused the connection to swell and burst). There's no hope for it at all, plus the old rad is also drokked along the bottom...

Well, if you're sure it'll help?

This was what the
was about...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161269590089? ... 1497.l2649

It randomly appeared on ebay last week and no-one else seemed interested in it
(postage cost is a body lemonade-take though)
It's not the right part number and doesn't cross-reference on www.allparts.cc, I cant see for sure what the end connector is (is it the right bayonet style? Can't think what else it would be with that plastic cover over???) but it looks the same shape/size. Hoping the diameters are the same and took a gamble - we'll see when it turns up!

If that works, then the part number might be one that superseded what you were looking for? Could explain why they're hard to find?

Yeah I'd wondered that, but I'm far from sure - it was a Citroen stealer that looked the part up for me initially and came back to say it was no longer available after using the current Citroen online parts system (which should pick up any superceded parts numbers?)
Also, the part number format on that ebay hose is a bit 'odd'...
Citroen launched a new part numbering system sometime in the late 90's (I remember it coming in because of the 'fun' the dealer used to have whenever I went in to order parts for my CX after it changed over
). The part number on this hose isn't consistent with the 'new' format from what I can see
I'm wondering if this is very old stock against the original format part number for the disiesel model that it says in the listing?
Either way, if it fits, I won't give a flying drokk!
