The problem is limited to 2.5-litre 6s that were made in the marque’s US Flat Rock production plant between 2010 and 2012.

Pretty sure his is the 2.5 litre, but wasn't sure if they were all manufactured in US?!

No only the US ones were made there. I think all the UK ones came from the Japanese factory(ies?), like the UKDM Preludes for example (but obviously not the Mazda plant before anyone gets smart :P )
