Don't suppose you managed to narrow it down to the handbrake or footbrake; whether it is the cable or the hydraulic system, or were they both showing the same problem?
I still had a slight imbalance on mine with refurbished calipers, down to a slightly deformed caliper bracket - enthusiastic hammer use on some really stuck bolts!
Hope you manage to figure it out soon.

That sucks man. When you say you stripped them down, was it just a case of clean up and regrease? No new seals / boots? Was there any corrosion on the pistons, especially past the boot or worse, seal?
Are the Teg rear calipers the same as the ludes? Or bigger but same mounting might help? My two rear calipers won't be used, more than welcome to try them, I refurbed with new seals, boots, etc a while ago now, but will certainly be better than 15-20 year old ones. They've been sat for a while (cough) but with handbrake off, so no reason why they wouldn't be ok. Let me know.
Other than checking some good calipers and handbrake operation, I can't see the Tegs prop valve failing, its a simple enough piece of metal.
I assume it doesn't have ABS? And I assume you bled the system thoroughly and to the book, I know you know what your doing but just to double check.

Re: JDM 98Spec Integra Type-R: Update P10 (23rd March)
Cheers for all the input guys. Popping up to have a look at the car tomorrow just in case i can find this locking wheel nut key.
gonna strip the car right down. Otherwise its gona be a slow painfull process to remove them.
Next job will be to investigate further.
Gonna check the everything and strip both calipers down and regrease them.
however, 1 job at a time...

Re: JDM 98Spec Integra Type-R: Update P12 (5th June)
UPDATE
Its been a while since an update, not really a lot of progress, but more of a case of trying to get the car back on the road.
I had the MOT on 3rd April.
Unfortunately the car failed on rear brake balance on the hand brake. This has apparently been brought in this year.
The pass rate for the brakes is a limit of 30% and the car was 35%.
So I took the car away, stripped the caliper, rebuilt it went for a retest in about 2 hrs. This didn't sort the issue and the car failed again.
I went back, changed the pads for a second hand set, bedded them in and turned up at the MOT place with smoke and brake dust billowing from the wheels...
which provided some amusement for the MOT guys.
However, again the car failed. Their recommendation was a set of standard rear pads (after recently fitting a set of Hawk HPS pads
)
Bought these, then went to fit them......Then I hit a problem....I coulkdnt find the locking wheel nut key
It looked like I had left it on the wheel while bedding in the brakes, so this could have been any where, so I gave up on the MOT and took the car home and changed insurance back over to my Honda Legend.
The following weekend, I removed the locking nuts from the wheels fitting standard nuts afterwards.
Now I could look at the brakes.
After removing the wheels, I wound in/out the pistons on both calipers several times, reseated the Hawk pads, reset the handbrake position and then raised both rear wheels off the ground.
Pulled the handbrake up to position and turned the offside rear wheel....Solid and wouldn't move
Checked the nearside rear wheel....Could spin it so easily like the handbrake wasn't applied
I then proceeded to buy a pair of caliper refurbishment kits. I rebuilt the weak nearside caliper with this.

Tried the same test again and no improvement across the wheels.
However, when I was adjusting the cable this time, I noticed something:

Yup, nearside cable stretched....How did I miss something sooooooo obvious
So I ordered another cable from R-motion.
I fitted the nearside cable, did a check and Kaboom!!!! we have us a Winner!!!
So I took the car for its MOT this Friday and she flew through the MOT, with the only advisory being a slight split in the boot of a lower ball joint!!!
To say I was chuffed, was an understatement
Back on the road in the Teg since the end of the Sept!!!!
So I gave her a wash and took a few pics....
Sorry for the long winded story
