I would think these might foul the inside of the wheel arch. Check some of the US forums as I've seen people with 9J and 10J offsets but you normally need a fair bit of fender work to make it happen if it is lowered.

I've just fit 17x8J (+40) with the standard 215/45/R17 tyres and they fit fine with stock Motegi springs.

Yeah it's a 2 litre matey.

Spydor, it's lowered 40mm already and the tyres on the rims are 225/45 all round. Will check the us forums cheers.

Oh and the offset may be lower. Lmao

Trust me when i say they wont fit.

9" wheels and offsel below 45 you will need to roll the arches. Offset above 45 and you will rub on the suspension arm.
9.75" wheels will need a pull and a roll.

To backup what Ratty says check out this site, gives you a bit of a visual comparison of alloy and tyre sizes:
http://www.willtheyfit.com

If you put your existing vs the new size you will see the inner clearance will probably be okay but they stick out miles further past the arches, so there is no way it would fit on a lowered ride without some serious work.
