Yea I would defo agree. We didn't notice it until we got back from me test driving it for him, (already home ). I could get my damn boot in the gap In front of the wheel

Yeah, we might've noticed it before we left..but it's not the kind of thing you'd immediately notice necessarily, is it?

There's so many things to check on a car, you can't get them all..

Doesn't matter, it can be fixed. If you got the car for a good price, then all's good...

Yeah, considering what needs doing, the price was fair I'd say.

It will need immediately;

1. Lower control arm
2. OEM rear shock(s) - one is a suspect looking aftermarket job
3. 4 wheel tracking
4. New ECU (with Spoon copy chip) fitting to delimit 112mph restriction, and hopefully fix engine management light issues.
5. New spark plugs
6. Oil & filter change
7. Vtec Solenoid Seal (as it is leaking)
8. Oil Filter Seal (oil is leaking from seal behind the nut..)
9. Timing adjustment
10. Valve clearances
11. Osram Nightbreaker bulbs (it is literally like having two candles guiding your way - although I am aware that Gen4 headlights are known to be pitiful..hopefully nightbreaker's will help a bit)
12. Clocks need swapping out as the odometer doesn't work

Then later, a few rust patches fixing before they get bad.

So a few hundred quid & this could be a proper nice motor. We'll see how it goes..

@thebusofwoe, do I need all 4? How much of a ballsache is it to replace all 4 shocks? Or do I just want 2 evenly balanced rears really?
