Great, so all I need to do is raid my dad's CD collection!!Doggo wrote:Good question!![]()
Long drive specific, I'd go for a selection like...
Albums:
1. Led Zeppelin II
2. Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
3. Lalo Schiffrin - Soundtrack from "Bullitt"
4. Feeder - The Singles
5. Calvin Harris - 18 months
6. Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight
7. Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
8. Prodigy - Fat of the land
9. Jean Michel Jarre - China Concerts
Andyjess's suggestions also good - Maybe Perfect Strangers (OK, that's not old DP) or Back in Black?
I can't go with classical music in the car 'cos the quiet bits are too quiet and you spend half the time fecking with the volume!

Metallica - S&M
Nirvana - Live in New York
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
Radiohead - the Bends
AC/DC - Back in Black
Any Jimi Hendrix Best of album
I'd also recommend American Headcharge - The War of Art, but I can't see it being your cup of tea.

I'd have to start off with Chuck Berry's - Riding Along in My Automobile - Just to set the mood...

Then it's time to flip over to the Iron Man 2 Soundtrack from AC/DC to light the fire..

Its heavier than the others, similar sound to Machinehead, I just really really like the album.
