Yeah, the dizzy I've got is off a 4th, so hopefully all should be well.

If its the main relay, a repair is pretty easy, just take a portable soldering iron with you and a little fresh solder, you can refresh the joints and you'll be good to go.

I recall being stranded in a similarly afflicted 4th gen once, quick solder job (And on the 4ws ecu) and both faults were fixed...

Wow, you are committed to the cause!

Mate, if you want to help out I would not turn you down!

Only thing is, I can't guarantee we'll get it working right.

All signs point to Dizzy or Relay, but could be something totally random. I'm sure all will be well, but just thought I should mention that. This is a proper 'take a chance & see what happens' kind of deal!

But I'm sure between us, we can make it work.
