Well remember that the Near side is the nearest side to the kirb. So Offside is drivers side. Well that's not too bad mate. 8-)

Are the front seats interchangeable in which I mean can any belt go on any side because I have a spare drivers seatbelt with extender

The fail sheet says its damaged sufficient to significantly weakened the webbing

Ah ok. I don't think they are interchangeable between sides. But if you got a spare drivers side then use that. As that's the offside anyway ;)

Why would the belts not be interchangeable?

Haha I'm getting confused with offside and nearside lol so its the drivers belt that it failed on coz in that case I Deco have a spare one to fit

my lude failed an mot a few years back for the same thing - frayed edges on the seatbelt-i just got a belt and guide from a breaker-only took 10 mins to fit ;)
if thats all that a fail on your mot then you should be more than happy with that ;)

The advisory on the steering rack is something you will have to look at tho..
