Nothing two rod-ends and a bit of steel bar can't sort Something I considered getting made up for the group if I'm honest, but wouldn't be until I had mine fitted
And yeah, you delete the centre beam... So it wouldn't matter if it was bent or not
Yep si import did this with an innovate one. IIRC there are pics of it being installed in the profile thread for his white one, so take a looksee there.
It has no front mount - I remember asking him about this when I noticed it (had some thoughts/concerns as you Merlin) and has no problems with it like that, despite doing track days/drag times Can't remember if he has ES polybushed mounts/innovate uprated mounts to compensate for it though?
I don't have as good mounts as those. I only have ES inserts on 3 and sikaflex in the other It was a cost I was prepared to cut. Not to worry as I have emailed Explicit and will start talking with them.
The inovate one is lighter than the oem stuff you remove I would say. Not sure about Explicit one - that looks like a proper bit of scaffolding!!!
They have other advantages though I think, beside weight - stiffer, less 'shunt' movement in the suspension arms under traction/braking and allows you to fine-tune the suspension adjustment more. That's the theory, right?

It is about setup . With traction bars you can adjust caster (the main reason I want one), while there is no caster adjustment with OEM radius rods.
I haven't actually got weights for any of them, but under race conditions the benefit of additional traction from having a proper traction bar fitted outweights (no pun intended) what little if any additional weight gain it'll give over OEM.
I know ESP ones are a fair bit heavier than Innovative, which is one reason I was sold on Innovative. On smaller Hondas tractions bars are generally heavier than the OEM front cross member. Not so much the case with Preludes.
