About £60 for a full sliding assembley though there is a bit of work involved, though you can just swap the panel itself and I'm sure that would come in much cheaper and is an easier fit.

Unless your roof motor is stuffed try and get a non rusty panel or just the glass and assorted shims. If you want to change the whole lot you are looking at a days work plus. Rob did mine for me using this guide which is brilliant.

We nearly run out of angle grinders though and I think Robs Marriage was put under strain by the time he got home.

Why is getting welding done such an issue these days, many seem to shy off it citing blinkin' H+S issues, others give such an outrageously high quote, that you know they don't want the work?

Well I have visited my local spray shop and have been quoted £200 max per arch, rust cut out. New metal put in. Primed and painted up done. Only drove past and thought drokk it I'll just see what they say. Explained the process seemed very knowledgeable....may even let him have a go I just worry.

I have never welded before. Also it's time consuming.
