I loved last nights episode, mainly for the old cold war Nuclear missile and it's Silo, and then when they went inside Chernobyl - was amazing  and when they found the fair ground as well, I was like :o  then... 8-) :ugeek:

If anyone is on the 28 days later exploration forum, search Chernobyl and there's quite a few people on there who have explored the site and taken pictures.

They don't do tours, people go at their own risk. The part I find strange is that they built a memorial for all the people that died, but they put it in the exclusion zone.....so nobody can visit it.

They do tours.

It's worth looking at the pre-distaster pictures of Pripyat if anyone is interested.

Also people have returned to living within the exclusion zone.

Yeah, I did read that there was a community that didn't even leave in the first place, they refused to be evacuated and have lived there ever since.
