I loved last nights episode, mainly for the old cold war Nuclear missile and it's Silo, and then when they went inside Chernobyl - was amazing

and when they found the fair ground as well, I was like

I think they do tours now

but scary to think about.. especially with all the reactors around the world

and the animals in the area don't live as long

If anyone is on the 28 days later exploration forum, search Chernobyl and there's quite a few people on there who have explored the site and taken pictures.

They don't do tours, people go at their own risk. The part I find strange is that they built a memorial for all the people that died, but they put it in the exclusion zone.....so nobody can visit it.

It's worth looking at the pre-distaster pictures of Pripyat if anyone is interested.

Also people have returned to living within the exclusion zone.

Yeah, I did read that there was a community that didn't even leave in the first place, they refused to be evacuated and have lived there ever since.
