I have a h22a5 97lude the now as my main car but im purchasing a manual h22a8 ukdm this sunday and it needs a clutch ive spent ages trying to source parts for it but the h22a5 seems to dominte in popularity. when the code bb is used does that mean from 1 to 8 all parts fit the same. cos mercutio gave me a link to a clutch but quotes its for bb1 4th gen. im confused.

It will fit but I would be wary as there are Exedy copies out there. If you want the tried and tested route I would get this instead http://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/genuine- ... p-592.html many members have this kit fitted. I have this clutch fitted to my H22a8.

merlin your a wizard!! haha thanks. finally an affordable clutch that at the same time can be proud to put in the car! Im gathering its direct fitment no wee niggles to fit it in? after phoning so many dealers (besides honda!) they all told me fitting a competition clutch first before uprating the car can damage the performance clutch therefore costing me double in the long run.

well got car last sunday!! ,well chuffed good side - engine is mint condition aswell as interior bad sides- body few deep scratches and back bumper is more or less a right off! 4ws needs fixed light permanently on aswell as srs light need to find service connector to pull codes, but its definetly worth reviving especially with the h22a8 red top under the hood. new atr clutch kit going in courtesy of merlins heads up, new slave cylinder etc needs a good service then its onto sourcing performance parts!! body work will be ongoing too.

anyone with experience with this engine would appreciate few pointers esp. with dash lights needs mot in 4 weeks!!!!!!

with regards to have you tried to reset it? Same goes for the SRS light.

Try to reset both and then see if they come back. What will you be doing with your old prelude?

im waiting for a dry day to polish them both up for some decent pics.

im still trying to find out where service connector is and get codes etc, how do you reset? same method?

im running both just now but will be selling my excellent condition 97 lude in next couple of months.
