All depands what you wanna install. Mine was over a grand but I have fully rebuild U2Q7 which landed under the bonet with fidanza flywheel and exedy stage 2 cluch. And fun begins. Completly different car

unfortunately I don't have the means to do this work so it would cost me a ton to get it done professionally!! luckily I do have enough money to buy another lude a manual this time!! 2000 v reg 2.2 vti vtec red top! only thing it needs is a clutch! I cant seem to find a decent stage 1 or exedy clutch anywhere for decent money.

so to add to pevious statement how much would I be looking at for standard exedy clutch kit and where best to go? im going to be selling my 97 lude in a couple of months once I get this one roadworthy. but I tell ya the h22a8's aren't half hard to find parts for!

a8's are the same as any other h22 parts wise buddy pretty much

yeah I get you man I should of phrased that better the a8's transmission especially clutch is hard to find a good and fairly priced one. unless im the only guy on the planet that just cant source one.

I only plan to do couple bolt ons mani. , backbox, air intake and possibly a remap/fine tune if I can source somebody close enough and within budget. so would a standard exedy clutch take 230-24o brake?

look for an atr clutch they are the first upgrade to a lude H22

Are you sure you have an H22a8? If it is an auto it should be the H22a5.
