Apart from bearings....what else could cause a rumble?

Post by nick_s » Tue Feb 04, 2014 7:14 pm

Had my rear bearings replaced, and I still have a rumble. Tyres are in good nick, not sure what else to think about?

Rumbles from about 5mph up to 25mph then disappears to a low drone (not the best description but best I can do).

TIA!

Could be sticking callipers, best to jack the rear end up and spin the wheels to see if you can pin point the problem.

Could the rumble be from your recent Ann summers visit?

I've experienced the splash guard grinding, this is a really low rumble.

It also seems to get more intense under cornering.
