Recaros in 5th Gen Prelude

I think the red Recaros in the Mondeo ST220 are pretty sweet.

I know, just ribbing you. To be fair in the grand scheme of saloon company cruisers they are pretty sweet. But not for the ludes.

The red ones are bloody rare. I did a customers moondust mondeo last year and he paid 2k for the red recaro interior. A retrim would be less. Looked nice though.

Holy thread revival..

Just wondering if you can add the reclining mechanism (lever thing) on Recaro seats on non reclining car? As if I get the ATR seat (5dr car) it doesn't have that over to recling so it' would be practical to get people in the back or get access to the back seats, so can I add that lever from another similar Recaro that have those lever thing.?

sounds complicated and impossible.

would you not be better off getting Red/Black Recaros from a DC2/EK9? Be much handier, or just loose the back seats (less weight)

Yea, I think it would be best to get seats from 3rd cars and coupes..

I just spotted some seats that can be used in the Type-S to match the rest of the interior. These look good and are also closely matched to the half leather half alcantara.

They also have the reclining mechanism. They come from Renault Sport range. Stumbled across them whilst out at work and saw a lovely Renault Megane with these seats.

I think the colour is a little off due to the yellow (compare top of seat to base). They're grey. Still look nice though
