Say what you will, but I like Tesco Momentum '99' fuel.

I did nearly 400 miles on Saturday in my lude, basically all dual carriageway/stuff, including the muffin long A14 average speed camera section and crap M11 overtaking lorries causing tailbacks

There was :vtec: on all sliproads/roundabouts etc and cruise control involved, so I got 28mpg and that's the most I ever expect to get out of a vtec lude.

And that's with 95 ron as always...

Yes, 28 mpg seems like the best a 2.2 Lude can do.. carriageways and staying away from vtec can improve it, but the best I've ever done is around 32mpg on 53l of 95 ron. (it's an automatic)

And as contrast the worst I've had is under 14mpg on 54l of 95 ron.

It is really your right foot that decides how your mpg turns out ;)

Valenzo :

Is your Lude an Automatic ?

I'm getting <8L/100km on my F20A4 5th gen. Always drive under speed limit adn sometimes rev it to 6000rpm.

Nope, manual box. That sounds more reasonable, though i always drive just at speed limit (30/55/68/80mph)
