IIRC You should have 3 sensors, one in the front rack. One in the rear rack and one behind the steering wheel. In that unit you are looking at will have an angle sensor in it. All 3 have to tie up for the ECU to be able to input the correct amount of steering into the rear rack. Im not sure if this helps :? :? :D

You're right - I'd not looked through a 5th gen manual (on account of have a 4g) and just assumed it would be there  Sorry man :( I guess that's something to do with the 5th gen manual being a USDM manual rather than UKDM? (Did they not get 4ws 5th gens in the US? :? )

I guess the best that can be done then, is using a mix of section 15 (ATTS) from the 5th gen manual, which does cover things like steering angle sensor, and the 4ws bits of section 17 in the 4th gen manual???

Anyone with a 5th gen 4WS, does that sound right?

i'm not sure i understood everything but i'll take a look at the whole 4WS chapter in the 5th G manual.

US doesn't get 4WS on the 5th gen, i've been on a couple forums and of course they couldn't help me !

no 5th gen 4ws manual

I think a 4th gen manual is about, but not even enough info in that

you definite you have code 20? 2 long flashes?

if so that sensor will need to be replaced, not a nice code :(
