I bought a new injectors for my project, I bought 370cc from Nissam S13, cheep and can be used up to 270Bhp. The only problem is they are a bit old, so there is possibility to have a stoppage issu, so idely it will be send them for inspection/cleaning.
I paid for mine 25 or 30 delvered.
They are straight fit to Prelude rail, just need to add a wsher and bigger (as far I remember) rubber orings to fit them on to Prelude rail.

ludes are ment to be driven, not wanking around on a stand like a Civic.

i think i need to sort the ECU issue first to be able to get it mapped :/ im guessing its a case of getting an aftermarket ECU with a basic map for the car and get it mapped properly from there?
Cheers cebul, i may look into getting some s13 injectors, maybe a bit too big for what i need but worth a go

No, he said he reckoned the guy who did the head work said it would be capable of 180-190 after a map.RattyMcClelland wrote:Dont forget Robs got the 2nd gen off benny and hes had some serious work dont to it. Head skimmed etc etc.
IMO it will be worth getting it dyno'd 1st to see what your working with since Benny rekoned it was hitting 190bhp.
Like you said Rob, your ECU is your biggest obstacle. If I were you I'd give Rich at Autoworks Performance a call. He's our oracle. Knows pretty much everything. I don't imagine he's done a great deal with B20a's (At least recently), but there's a chance he'll be able to give you some avenues. He's a busy guy, but happy to help when he can.

im guessing its running about 150 ish, maybe, possibly, hopefully
Yeah will give him a call when i have a spare 5 mins, isn't he on here? can you get aftermarket ECU's with basic maps etc or would a map for my enigne be too hard to get hold of lol?
If not then il try and find a place that do cams and get some slightly bigger ones
that should give me a bit more power lol

You do at least have a very cool run around though
BTW I've finally taken some pics of the pages in that book. I'll post them up later this evening. Also the section on cams and cam timing (which it says it definitely worth doing btw, so stick with your adjustable cam pulleys rather than revert to stock).

Pictures are perfectly legible on the phone, but not so good when uploaded to photobucket.
First page talks about using a cheap plug in air/fuel mixture reader, to show you what the mixture is like.

This section talks about standard injectors, what to do with them, what their flow rates are meant to be and what recommended uprated ones to use.

Then onto putting uprated cams in.

And goes on to talk about why adjustable cam gears are worth it

If you drop me a pm with an email address, I can send the legible versions over to you if you like.
There'll be plenty of books out there on this stuff in general of course and plenty of people on here that know about it anyway (I don't myself tbh!) but just think this book is useful because it's written specifically about the right era of Honda's.

Awesome thanks
good handy guide, where did you get it from?
wow my injectors only produce around 170cc or is that for the smaller PGM-FI enignes? looks like i wont need to get anything too big then to gain a bit of power
does that mean, when i do the camshaft seals on Thursday (loosing a lot more oil now
) i don't have to take the belt off completely, i can just slip it off the pulley?
I dont mind if i have to, but it would save so much time doing so lol! ive got my tip ex ready
when i change the seal il have to take the cam shaft out, how would i put it back correctly so i know that the valves go back down in the correct position? i suppose just make sure i remember where the cam was when i took it off.... more tip ex
The guy at the place im getting the dyno run at said he can adjust the cams for me too which would be good lol. But was looking at it today, the exhaust cam pulley wobbles a bit, fluctuates about 1mm but doesnt look too good :/ anyone know what that could be? cheap pulleys
cars falling apart!!
Found a place in America that does cams for old preludes but i think its for the B20A5
http://www.webcamshafts.com/index_blank ... earch.html
I'd get the first ones as i dont want anything too mad
There's another site that do them for the B20A5, would that fit my engine or are they too different?
