Looking good mate! Have you got a wink circuit installed??

RE the battery, if you whip the cables off of it whilst the car is idling, does it keep running?? I seem to recall reading somewhere about Benny having some trouble with the alternator bracket or something, so I wonder if it just needs adjusting?

Car's looking cool.

 Thinking the rocker cover would look good in the wood effect to match the fuse box etc. covers though?

I actually prefer the white. I was thinking the inlet manifold would look pretty sweet white as well 8)

Good job tracking the idle screw down Rob

And I'd follow JJMartin's advice on the battery before considering anything else.

Omg a white inlet manifold would look insane! Maybe next on things to paint haha! I think the rocker cover being wood effect was a bit too much imo  still looked good though

I did a battery test at work the other week and it said It only had a start capacity of 37%, the alternator test said it was fine so I think it's where the car had bern sitting the batteries just go e. But il have a look at the bracket and see if anythings been slipping tomorrow at some point

I wonder where the battery was when that induction kit was there :S theres like no space for it anywhere else :L

Sorry forgot to say, no haven't done the wink wiring yet. Cos that motors stopped working which I think is the wiring I just wind it out most the time unless I'm going on a long drive lol.

Oh yeah this is weird, only started happening today. When I brake my sidelights come on too? This is when all the lights are off. Bad earth somewhere?

I was going to say that's a good point about the previous battery relocation (wherever it was relocated to). Being this car was bodged to F'ery, you might want to track down the redundant wiring that was put in place. You might have a bad earth somewhere along the lines.

Is that an air box in place of the battery, or is that a battery case with an air box built in as part of it on top, maybe?
