Edit: I stand corrected on the repeating/space thing then

my only experience is with scrolling abuse and in films where a 'hacker' guy starts going no no no no no and they realise they're drokked.

Who comes/came up with the names? POKE doesn't seem very descriptive

Obviously I'm missing something but I'm genuinely interested

A lot of this IF THEN business reminds me of those RPGs (can't remember the name for them).

I remember going into John Menzies and they would have a Spectrum set up. I would go on and do the whole 10 PRINT "macky is cool" thing with random colours and flashes etc, thinking I actually was. Not realising that some similarly talented pleb would just change it to " macky is a gentleman's sausage"

I still worry at night about this

Yeah I did wonder about putting run in or not, but since it was just meant to be a body lemonade take of Donalds wanky Twitter speak showing that I'm stuck in the dark ages, rather than a real programme, I didn't think it mattered that much

Glad to see it's caused so much interest and debate though!

Oh and as for spectrums and c64s I'm afraid my Basic programming days go back earlier than that, to the good ol' BBC
