Another Track 4th gen :) - Rear suspension in/motor strip do

Post by Thebusofwoe » Sun Jan 12, 2014 6:45 pm

Hi guys.
Well got a little more done today. Really must get on with it now as im planning lots of track days and also planning on going over to Spa/Nurburgring in June/July time. Its not a great deal but got the rear suspension/2ws back in . .

Standard shocks with Eibach springs. Thanks @K30DPC :D
The rear arms are completely polly bushed. Thanks again to @Gabriel90. Left the standard trailing arm bushes in for now. Will do those when I got more time at work.
Then started stripping down the motor to see what seal/gaskets I will need. . . .

Got to this point and then Paul72 turned up. :lol: :lol:

Well almost there now for the rear. Just trying to get this thing MOT and road worthy now. Then do bits as and when from there.

Cheers guys :D :D

No I don't have any links, but am going to either buy or get made the braided line from master to slave. ;)
Thanks pal. The one you built, and the track time you put in has inspired me. :D :10: :clap: :hail:

Interesting... Your H22A2 has the JDM tubular rather than UKDM cast manifold :think:

Well maybe I'm wrong, but I thought H22A2's were all fitted with this cast manifold;

I haven't taken the heat shield off mine yet to check, but I've got a JDM OEM tubular to swap it with, on the assumption that it is the cast type...
