Errr... There's Rockauto as well.
Variety of manufacturers to chose from, including some as cheap as £5.13 ea (and that's before LG discount is applied on top!!!)
Bendix for £8.44 ea (again also before discount)

I was running standard EBCs on the rear (with green pads) and can't say anything bad.
Changed them only because:
1) 5 lugs conversion (at this point I redrill them)
2) 290mm big brake kit (at this point I send them to the scrap)
I didn't try to resell it as they had quite hard life with me, but still I can only say there were fine. And they survive Nurburgring

Similarly, I have EBC pads on the front of my lude and EBC turbo groove discs on the front of my Xantia and they're fine.

Same, I have EBC standards on the front with red pads and haven't had any issues.

Of course there are options that ship from the EU though, but at no saving over anywhere else tbh even with the discount.

Hahaha fair enough.. Well I had some EBC discs with green stuff pads and they were cack and the discs cracked. EBC replaced them twice for me. That said, this was circa 2001.

EBC discs were all I used at one point. Then tried a cheaper disc and it made no difference. Now I sling cheapo stuff on the rear of the 5th (so long as the dust isn't bad). Mintex do decent rear pads at ~£17.

My 5th needs new rear discs so found these Delphi ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DELPHI-REAR-B ... 43c419f12d

Pretty cheap at £43.50 for two discs.
