Yeah, clutch plate & friction plate are all good. And inner cv's are spot on.

so then your looking at either an issue inside the box or worst case a broken crank

Yeppo, it is more common to be the fault of this part as this bearing holds the next/first point of tolerance assuming cv's are all good. If it is the culprit, after removing shaft clip, then bell housing the bearing would collapse, if not ud need a bearing puller to remove it.

Crank & belt appears to be fine. Although we haven't seen it running. :roll:

If it was a broken crank wouldnt it just grind to a hault suggesting. My moneys on the bearing

Yeah, that was my thinking. But the engine was still running fine apparently. Just no drive.

Just an update, new gear box is in minus 3 bolts :lol: just having a coffee break before I fit the rest

Just got back in. Looks like I missed all the excitement! Well done cracking on like that yourself damo.

Sounded like it could only be a gearbox issue to me, can't really have been anything else.
