Yeah, clutch plate & friction plate are all good. And inner cv's are spot on.

Yeppo, it is more common to be the fault of this part as this bearing holds the next/first point of tolerance assuming cv's are all good. If it is the culprit, after removing shaft clip, then bell housing the bearing would collapse, if not ud need a bearing puller to remove it.mercutio wrote:the input shaft bearing is on the shaft as it passes through the bellhousing

Yeah, that was my thinking. But the engine was still running fine apparently. Just no drive.
