Getting close to 300bhp NA isn't that difficult, but it's not cheap. You could slap on a turbo and break that figure for less, but it's just not the same as NA like you said

I haven't looked into plans for the box just yet. Thought I'd do all that research when I'm in a position to do something about it
Thought I'd like to see where I'm peaking and what ratios are best suited to it.
Initially I'll just be running one of my standard M2B4 LSD boxes with a new Competition Clutch Stage 4 Sprung Clutch, but then I have a second one and a U2Q7 box with a dodgey reverse to strip down and rebuild with whatever final drive and possibly uprated diff I decide/can get my hands on.

Cool. I'll just plant some seeds for thought. IMO the M2B4 won't cut the mustard when your laying down that amount of power, it is only a viscous LSD and is fairly limited in what it can do. The torsen in the U2Q7 will be much better but the only problem is the 2nd and 3rd gears in that gearbox will be too short and liable to promote wheel spin. If you are looking for a cheap set up and you have the bits already I would do what Dino did, get the U2Q7 and strip the gears from it and use the gear set from the M2F5.
Now that I have my M2F5 built up and that it spins up the wheels in 2nd and 3rd (on the road) I am glad I didnt choose my M2P4 instead (same ratio's as the U2Q7). That would be near impossible to get the power down on a wet road in those gears IMO.

And I've still got an M2F5 available, going for peanuts!

That's why I picked up the U2Q7Merlin wrote:I would do what Dino did, get the U2Q7 and strip the gears from it and use the gear set from the M2F5.

So Andy, fancy keeping hold of that box and possibly striking a deal with your B20a when you get there. I'm hoping I should actually have space to accept them then
