well as im swappimg carpets with a1ex thought it was a good oportunity to stripp some sound deadening out just the bulkhead left to do, took about 3 hrs



Also anyone know of a workaround to stop the srs light coming on when i get my buckets in?



And also whats this box do?

Thats box is for the keyless entry central locking iirc.
Good stuff on the deadening. It does feck all and weight alot for what it is. Iv not removed the front bulkhead deadening but it will be a bitch to do. The vinyl will weight a good 10kg and the tar stuff behind it another 10kg.

keyless entry? so seeing as i have only one key and no fob if i were to remove this would the passenger door unlock by using the key manually? i dont mind a challenge might as well as im swaping dashes anyway, got 12kg out so far

Yep its the keyless reciever. I would think your passenger door would open with the key in the drivers door. unplug it and see.
Removing the dash wont be enough. You will have to remove the steering column, steel crossbar, vents and climate control evaporators and the list goes on.
Similar to a 4th Gen.

Right little update, A1ex's second hand head is with rich at PAW and hes working his magic on it as we speak

Sound deadening has been completely removed

A1ex's black carpet and centre console have been installed

and my Buddyclub Pro spec 4 catback should be here any day

Just need to order a pair of bride rails before i trailer my car down to PAW for rich to swap the cyl heads over
