How many cars could you fit in here I wonder?

Found something cool online? Post a thread about it in here.

Hmmm. While not taking any sides in the "conversation", quick note Donald..... I do think your (apparent) assumption that evidence from govt. literature and laboratory studies or field studies/metastudies trumps a career in a relevant industry comes across as a bit sweeping.

Yes, you can perhaps never be beaten in an argument by quoting official info. when there is no data to the contrary, but applying this kind of general data (Go ahead, look for something more specific   ) to specific examples is effectively a kind of reductio ad absurdum. An experienced ground level practitioner will often, frankly, have a better assessment of risk of any given situation. Admittedly, given the gestation of Asbestos related conditions this is difficult to prove in this case, but I think you might agree that this is the case in many situations?

Or were you only talking in general? (Genuine question!)

Just a thought.

PS - What's so unsafe about your penis? (On second thoughts don't answer that :? )

OK, I'm out.

Nope - you've burnt all your bridges now sonny boy...

ps. I'm so shallow, I'm going to go and look at that place now just to spite you and then when I get cancer, I'll sue you claiming it was you that goaded me into it and I'll be able to know that you've got my death on your conscience forever, even though you'll claim publicly you couldn't give a damn

I was mainly seeing how much I could wind up wurly to to be honest, I think it's quite clear that from page 2 onwards things got silly

In general though a career based around safety/whatever will be based on evidence and statistics though so with no supporting data there is no career, so I'm not sure what your point is  or what mine is. Hopefully you can figure that one out. Also there was no general data, I presented a figure related directly to asbestos and then offered a comparative list of arguably the biggest killer we have.

Nothings unsafe about my penis, you're welcome to come round though ;)

Wurly this was all a ploy to stop you asking me on dates ;) and frankly I'm hurt that you were in the area at the weekend and didn't tell me :'(

:? Where did your penis even come into things (this time)? I must have missed it!

And yep, as Donald says, this was all just game playing anyway  (well, aside from my posts about looking at the properties, which were deadly serious!)

It's because I knew you wouldn't come anyway and I didn't want anything spoiling the fun with Phil's Guinea pigs...

...and on next weeks "Ooh, you bitch!" we discuss the right of Western Democracies to enforce factory whelk farming in passive orthodox states.

I still think "Asbestos" is general *sulk*

I don't really understand my point either, either. And thanks for the invite, but I definitely don't want to see yours :?

Are you guys bonding over guinea pigs? :D

Can I join in? I like 'em furry :P

If you need to get in and out of them, about 6. Pack 'em in, you might get double. Double again if you stack them one top of another.
Or go for gold: at least 150 when crushed.

Typical bloody farmer...
Has a space to rent but won't rent it to anyone.
"how many cars, what exactly do you want to do to them, will it be just you or will there be anyone else coming down, are you doing them to sell" (It's advertised as a commercial property FFS so why should that be an issue even if I was?!!!) "not sure if he can take cars"... etc. etc.

FFS, everytime I've tried to find somewhere I always get this jobby off farmers round our way. They're the most suspicious stand-off-ish bunch of people ever met. Just to get talking to them you have to basically go through a full bloody security clearance!!! The only reason I got my current barn space is because I knew one of his (then) current tenants.

Do they want the drokking money or not?!

Jesus, the world is full of paranoia. And when did we become so risk averse we lost common decency or any sense of proportion? I hope I'm not and never will be that cynical.

Good luck next time, Iain. Bloody frustrating I imagine, but they can't all be :tosser: s
