How long a job is it supposed to be to change the rack I can't imagine it being too difficult if you could use a ramp somewhere ;)

Bummer dude. :(

Only the steering rack that's the biggie really though. And look at it this way; once the steering rack is changed, you'll have precise steering, new coilovers, fresh tracking, & a nice reliable car for some time to come. :)

Not to mention the difference it will make to steering & handling once it's all been done! It will be like a new car. :P

How much are you anticipating it all costing? Cos you might as well get him to do everything while he's got it apart.

Which steering rack? ;)
There are 2. Both are a doddle to change but ramps are a must. I had the front one partially off.

Yeah I've got no issues changing the upper arms or fitting the coilovers. (Though ebay don't sell rear upper arms so I'm stumped there! :? ).

Dave has said swapping the rack ain't going to be cheap, and he gives me cheap mate's rates. He's also said he's going to asked a mate who still works for Honda, who I used to know through mountain biking to give him a price for fitting a rack and doing the alignment at the same time, so I should find out tomorrow how much it'll cost :?

And front Ratty ;-)
