I managed to snake down the road before it got completly sideways and spat me off the road into barrier, no amount of abs or on off braking helped :(

Oh also make sure you do the chin strap up on your helmet, they will come off in an accident else ;)

So glad you pboth climbed out of that rather unscathed Phil. Has Stav managed to find a replacement shell yet?

And for the record, a 106 Rallye is a great little car that knows how to handle itself. Mine sported UniRoyal Rainsports 2 and was other otherwise standard and it stuck to the road better than any other Prelude I've had ;)

I wish people would stop encouraging the French by buying their cars! I crashed a 205 once at about 40mph, you'd think I was doing 400.. bloody flimsy pieces of crap.

Glad you guys are ok, Phil.

You should have seen the damage done to my Aerodeck after hitting a post at under 20mph then

Don't tell me that, I was (nicely) shocked and surprised at how well my 4th gen survived being dumped on its roof with me inside! ..from that incident (and one or two other minor prangs over the years) I have always rated Honda's as being fairly robust :?

That's the difference between old and not so old Hondas, as I'm sure it is between old and not so old french cars ;-)

That's probably true, to a degree but I'd still rather be in any Honda than a Peugeot in any crash..

American supplier, but presumably could ship?

Or see this previous thread from our very own Phil which referenced this supplier
