I might be wrong, cause it's all subjective of course and opinions and arseholes and all that... But meh, that was my opinion on that question.

205/45 R17 - just fine.stk prelude wrote:its not the 17's the problem .. its the tyres you put on them
205/40 R17 - I could understand the problem.
I have the former. And I feel sure you could easily fit a set of 205/50 R17's on if you really wanted. Plenty of space. That would definitely remedy any perceived comfort issues.

But hey, each to their own innit. Up to the Nafeman at the end of the day.

The arch to bonnet line is so narrow and large wheels looks wierd.
16"s look perfect.

Also I'm wanting to stick to standard overall diameter, so with that in mind, if I did want to run 17's I'd have to run either 205/35r17 or 195/35r17 and that definitely ain't gonna happenCrunchyAdams82 wrote:205/45 R17 - just fine.stk prelude wrote:its not the 17's the problem .. its the tyres you put on them

The guy's being a bit rubbish getting back to me at the minute anyway. I've asked him about courier costs twice now which he's said both times he'll sort, and also he's unsure so checking whether he has the centre caps or not. Either way I've found a second company on ebay selling the set with centre caps for the same price

I'm just going to wait to see if he's got the caps and then haggle the price either way.
