Aha! I knew there was a way around it! I would love to own an S2K (even if they are homicidal maniacs in the wet) but I need more than 2 seats.LudeIOW wrote:...contemplating selling one of the kids to buy one

Bye bye ATR
It was pissing down yesterday and TBH it was pretty well behaved, only had to catch it a couple of times and there were no surprisesbb1boy wrote:LudeIOW wrote:(even if they are homicidal maniacs in the wet)

seriously??
you gotta ask if thats right havn't you?
the only way i can get wayward in the bim is the MAKE it. Even in the wet it is very well behaved and sure unless you are having a laugh, which I have yet to honestly do as it will drive faster in the wet than i like to for safety.
if its stepping out that easy there has to be some issue there doesnt there? bad tires, geo out or something? or did you put you 'tool' hat on and go for a drive?

When the S2K was new Palmersport in Bedford swapped their ITR's for AP1's for their track days but they had to get rid of them because they were too dangerous in the wet, as soon as it started to rain everyone would fly off the track backwards.. so they got rid of the S2K's and bought a bunch of bloody Renault Clio's instead!!
They were new tyres from the garage but an unknown brand, swapped them out for my contis yesterday and it's much more stable. Driving normally it's fine, when I say stepped out I was basically seeing when I could get the throttle on coming off round abouts from all this talk of it being tail happy in the wet. It's no where near as bad as I thought it would be.lewd lude lover wrote:seriously??![]()

Mine is an AP1, but if you read up on the history 02 onwards AP1's had the revised suspension to reduce the snap.
