Is it really just attention seeking? I suppose it must be, I can't see any other benefit (apart from being lighter weight) in removing those panels.. in fact, it probably increases drag and reduces fuel efficiency.

I definitely think it's daft, but at the same time I like it. It's kind of artistic... The clash of sleek shiny bodywork with the crude industrial skeleton underneath revealed. The 350 definitely works best though.
