I'm reserving judgement. Apparently he was really good in Argo (I've heard that from two sources that are generally good critics. Not seen it myself) and I really liked him in The Town. He's quite big now too, so just as long as he doesn't talk too much (as generally his roles are quite lippy), he could be quite good.
