Yeah I didn't expect you to sell them to me really ;-) ... And I even forgot you're in Holland as well!

Yeah, I've looked in 4 or 5 different places now and the only colours that appear to be in stock are red and yellow. I'll just keep checking ;-)

Wheels look cool!
I'm sure a friend on mine local to me plastidipped the wheels on his legacy and after a few month of daily use they're still looking good

Not much going on but the wiring..
There is some progres but its getting cold in my garage and my GF is moving in with me so need to do up the house a bit :-|

Did fabricate a battery bracket.. was fun to do but not my best work... function over form :D
Its easy to remove but won't go anyware during a crash or roll..

Hi guys,

Been a while.
Car is still not running, been enjoying the summer and upgrading my daily lude.

But whats going on with the car:

Bought some things like bigger intercooler, new silicon couplers , spoon strutbrace and some small things.

Took the rear window out to fit the rollcage. Plastic4performance lexan to go in after the cage is done.

Building the cage at the moment, progress is slow as the welder has never fitted a cage and he wants to do it right.
very happy with the pipemaster tool as i make the difficult corners.

When the six point is in, I will fit the dash and finish the wiring.

here are some pics.

need some more air .. so thinking about cutting up my bumper..

When we ran out of welding wire (?) decided to fit the ground wires and fabricate a bracket for my radiator hose.

I knew we had a couple more big builds hidden away. Almost forgot about you mate!

Great to see she's still making progress :)

Not sure about having those slotted holes in the nose of the bumper. Think either that whole area removed like you quite often see or round holes in a line would look better. Is she staying silver?

Hi Nathan, Yep, won't give up on her!
The bumper can be cut like the VIS Racing bumper yes. but wanted to be creative. Might just give it a shot and I can always make it into one big hole.

Well as much as I want to keep it silver I will change the doors as I have a pair with lexan and doorpanels already fitted.
I will plasti dip them black.
Also I have a rare widy bodykit , I will fit this when the car is running and when I'm able to so some decent lap times (without crashing) The whole car will be black I think, nothing fancy.

But the awnser is YES.. it will stay silver as long as possible! Its still my favourite colour ever :ugeek:

And might come down to the UK with my friend Ferdie when both our cars are done! hopefully next year! (If I don't crash)

If yours and Ferdie's cars come across and the meet is down south, they might even be enough to tempt our Scottish contingent across the border to a meet? :o
