I tried Brasso on one of the ATR lights and it looks like it might work with a couple of more goes.

Meguiars Plast-X. Works a treat! If you have stone-chips, use Wet&Dry from 1200 up to 2000 then use the Plast-X.

I used this mithod but with a palm hand DA and went from 400 grit upwards.

10mins each headlight. PERFECT.

Yep, best method there is.
Depending on how badly scratched/chipped your headlights you can go for a rougher grit paper like 400 as you said.

Guys but my headlights are not scratched or peeling lacquer.. They are just foggy from inside so I'm thinking no polishing will help with that.

If it is moisture you might have a go with a blow-dryer (be careful not to damage any plastic parts with the heat

) helped on my previous cars.
