So i thought id start a profile on my return as iv been away from the site for a lil while for a number of reasons. so il start by catching you guys up on whats happened really since i bought my lure. well were to start i picked up my £450 BARGIN ( ) only to be told by the bloke on collection at in an attempt to clear the constant handbrake light ( i know no to be low brake fluid) he had caused an air bag light ( which with a simple DTS reset cleared ) so i then drove her home noting a new vibration when braking ( i did test drive her but didnt really boot it and its alot more notable under heavy braking at speed ) and a crack in the windscreen which had been hidden behind the tax disk! so looks like iv got some warped disks to sort too and a new windscreen to order  . So now feeling a little let down i thought id get the car jacked up and give it a dam good once over, boy did i regret that. after giving the car a good once over i was left with quite a shopping list

new brakes and pads all round
new windscreen
new track rod ends
a couple of new bushes for the suspension
new air intake hose
new washer jets
4 new tyres
new switch for the brake fluid
and possibly a couple of wheel bearings or cv joints

then a week later anger turned to misery when the rad popped a leak and on closer inspection i notices a hair line crack along the head of the rad which looked to of been covered with a lick of black hammerite

so at this point i started searching for a new car with rwd in mind. i know i know all can be sorted with a lil £££ but at 23 and being the lone provider for my missis and 2 kids £££ comes in short supply. well i still have the lude as i type this and sadly its days in my possession may be numbered.

however there is a small ray of shimmering hope as iv found since december HMRC have been taxing me way to much ( had a duplicate of me on there system so thought i was working two jobs  ) so I'm due a large tax rebate so with this in mind i went on ebay with my shopping list and have managed to find a new rad, 4 new tyres and all new brakes and pads for under £370. so the foreseeable future the lude will be remaining in my possession. i truly love this car and enjoy every moment behind the wheel and i hope i can revive her even with my limited funds.

and i know this post is useless without pics, so my lude mission for today is to get on photobucket and upload some pics for you viewing pleasure.

so thats how it all stands at the minute and i will try and keep this as updated as i can for you and fingers crossed all will be fine.

well thats my bit for now. im gone.

jobby man looks like we both had bad luck the thing that is annoying me the most is the rear bumper tho its the only thing that ruins the appearance of the car ( and yes 4th gen owners that remark does take the headlights into account)
