Its not that its money issues. I can get my engine out and put the new one in easily BUT its a better idea to service the engine whilst its out of the car. ie new belts, manual tensioner etc, calipers need refurbing and needs new tyres all of which is in the region of £700-800. Since im currently earning 4 times less than minimum wage it cant do much at all. Cant even afford to MOT the 3rd Gen to sell which will fail
.
I can put the new engine in and worry about belts etc at a later date.
???
Van it is.
We can cover the VW badges and put Honda on it.

They did indeed!
Don't worry Ratty, maybe it might be worth your while to bring the van and do some cheeky bit of work on cars.
Would help finances. Just a thought.
I'll be frank as the days and weeks go by, I too have come to the reality that mine may not be ready too.
I'm still going to bust a gut, so we shall see.
Cheers,
Rob
