I couldn't recommend model numbers, but as general advice...
Head unit wise, my advice would be Pioneer/Apline/Clarion (not necessarily in that order, but they're the best in my experience and you won't go wrong if buy that). Kenwood stuff is actually fine too, just for some reason I've never really 'taken' to it.
Amps from any of those 3 will be good also, but there is much more choice out there and tbh I'm not up with all the various new brands you can get these days.
Sony stuff is just crap gimicky stuff IMHO and I won't go anywhere near it.
Speakers, again there's so much choice out there now.
The front speakers are more important than the rear, as the sound stage should be at the front. Particularly in the lude, the proximity of the rear speakers to the screen and angle of the screen is not at all good for getting the best out of whatever you put there.
For the front, you want decent components so you can keep the woofer in the door and the tweeter up where the standard tweeters sit. Use decent cabling between the amp and speakers, the OEM wiring in ludes is absolutely rubbish (crappest gauge I've seen on a car).
I used to swear by Infinity and that's still what I've got. Their subs were never that highly rated but the rest of their range was highly regarded. They did go through a bad phase though after Harman Kardon bought them and set them up to be midrange rather than direct competition and they moved some manufacturing to China (e.g. I had cones go brittle) so I'm not sure where they're at now, I think they have returned to decent form. Mind you, even during their bad phase, their customer service was still excellent. When I noticed the cone problem I took it into a dealer, not the one I'd bought it from, had no receipt and they were about 3 years old so well out of warranty. The dealer prodded them and said 'not seen that before', rang their main service line and straight away they said yep, just give him a new set from the current range - no questions asked
I found the front doors on a lude are a rattly once you get decent power into them, so I've added CLD tiles to mine, from here but I doubt you're at that stage so don't worry about it for now. The main problem area for rattles is the internal door handle though. There's a tab at the back end of it that presses against the internal door skin. That's the bit that rattles like drokk, so whatever you do, put something in there just to pack between the two.
