So only took pictures of the wheels.

Yup.. But for few minutes when it's all clean and looking pretty it's kind of worth the wash..

Re: Nitin's SiR Type-S
Prelude curse!!
For all you know, I was very unlucky and got hit by some old man who put his car in reverse and didn't look back. The damage was so little but his insurance wrote the car off. The damage on my car was just some scuffing on the front bumper and little tiny dent on the bonnet. They offered me £800 first, obviously I declined and after a bit of convincing them that this car is worth more then are offering me £1100. The engineer told me that the last Type-S to be sold was sold at £1500 so they can't offer any more. And also they have put a Category C&D!!
drokk sake!!!
All I wanted to do is drive my car on the weekends and have a bit of fun. And you get someone else ruining your fun and get away with it.
Obviously, I have decided to buy the car back and so I have £1000ish to repair it. Now looking at this it doesn't seem bad as the car can be repaired (bumper resprayed and new CF bonnet for about £450) and put back on road with a little more change in my pocket.
Now I have to put the car through some kind of test to prove that it's safe for the car to be on road (VIC check) :\ even though its only needs to have a bonnet sorted. That's another headache I have to go through with DVLA.
There was a thought of me fixing the car and selling it. As I'm only using the car on the weekends, it can't carry more passengers, too many speed humps and its not hardly a fuel efficient car.
But I couldn't do that!! This one is to keep for a bit more time
Plus, if I sold up and went away, you all would get bored and won't be the same on here!
Thought about buying a camera to record these kinds of accident. It turned out to be one of those "too good to be true" products. Got my refund back from the seller after telling him that I will leave a negative feed back..
Double drokk sakes!!

Then yesterday night, was just taking the car out to move it around and clear the brake discs are not rusted etc. And there was a small oil drops on the drive way..
Triple drokk sake!!!

There was a question in my mind that I shouldn't have claimed and it would have never got written off in the first place. When I first got hit, the old man did seem genuine and accepted liability but what's stopping him going home and telling everyone that it was my own fault. So that was the main reason why I went through the claim. Too late now as I've done it and what's done is done.
Still not letting the Prelude go or leaving it to rot. When I get some time off work, I will try to find the leak and try to fix it. I will have some change left over from the money I got from the third party. I have already got lots of service parts to put on the car so that can all go in together.
Going to clean the car in and out this weekend so that I can give some love back to it and also to give my self some enthusiasm to love it more. On the plus side, I'm getting the CF bonnet of Lewis as I'm replacing my OEM bonnet.
Hopefully everything will be back to normal and there will be no more hold ups! Sadly, there are no times for any shows or meets now.
Will update when I can..
